I'm Thankful For...
On Friday, Johnny came home from school with a laminated place mat for Thanksgiving. On it are his hand prints and it says, "I'm thankful for my toys!" I told him how nice the place mat was. Curtis looked at me and said, "I made one too, but mine says I'm thankful for TV!"
I pretended to cry and said, "You aren't THAT kid.....couldn't you have said you are thankful for your Mom or Family? You said TV?!"
Curtis started laughing and then Johnny looks at me and says, "Well, I really wanted to write I'm thankful for BREAST MILK, but my teacher wouldn't let me!" I was DYING! What do you think the teacher thinks of us!

He's Here!
Born on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008
8lbs.1oz.
Well, it's finally OVER! On Sunday, I went into the hospital for an induction. The first few hours in the hospital were spent with me getting an antibiotic drip, since I had the "Strep B" virus. Then at 11am, they started the pitosin. At this time, I was already at 4.5 centimeters dilated. Once the pitosin started, it went pretty quickly. By 2:45 I was ready to push. They called the doctor, and 7 pushes later, Andrew entered the world!
Everything went REALLY well, and we couldn't have had a better experience! I LOVED the nurse that delivered the baby! If I could take her home, I would! She also worked the night shift and gave me MUCH needed sleep on my last night in the hospital. I was the ONLY person on the entire floor- so I had my own wing and I was spoiled!
Today, it's back home, after stopping to vote. Now the "fun" begins. Erik's home all week to help me. So, I'll just try to do some bonding and resting, before the REAL fun begins on my own next week! I'm SO glad that it's all over, and every one's healthy!

Sneak Attack!
Just when you all thought that Megan had "Sister of the Year" wrapped up, Colleen drove here for the weekend and BLIND SIDED her! As you can tell from the pics I've posted, I'm VERY pregnant and getting swollen. Yesterday, Colleen cleaned my house top to bottom. She even lifted up couches and cleaned the floor under them. I won't tell you what she found or how long it's been there...but she did all of it to make my life easier here in my last days! It's going to be a tight race come December. Now, let's see if Ann Marie can blow them out of the water! She's always got something up her sleeve!
