My mom and dad have four grandsons, with another one on the way. Yesterday, my sister Megan and Kyle went in for her 20 week ultrasound and found out she's having the first baby girl in the family! Everyone is SO excited! Let's just say, that Kyle will be sick of PINK in a few months! Congrats to them! Let the shopping BEGIN!
So, today is the day we've all been waiting for in this house....High School Musical 3 is in the theaters! You better believe that the kids and I are going to be lined up for the noon showing! I'm not sure who is more excited- them or me!
Oh, and for those of you who thought I might be having the baby....I'm still feeling very good for being this prego! My only complaint is that he is in my right rib, and it hurts from the front all the way around to my back. But, at this time with both other kids, I was SO uncomfortable! So, I'm going to keep enjoying my limited number of days I have left with just two kids! I'll keep y'all posted!

There's some stiff competition in my family for the "Sister of the Year" award. Last night Megan "One- Upped" the competition! Lately, I've been so tired, and yesterday it's all I could think about. Around 4pm, I was getting the kids ready to go outside to play. I was debating whether or not to ask a neighbor girl to watch them, so I could put my legs up for an hour or so. Then... UP pulls Megan and her hubby! They came to surprise me, and WHISK the boys away for the night to their house! It was the greatest surprise, and I really needed it!
As the boys got their bags packed, I called Erik and said, "Let's meet for ONE LAST DATE before the storm!" So, Erik, who usually gets home around 7 or 7:30pm said, "I'll meet you at 5:30pm at Bonfire!" 5:30!!!!!! I was dying! The boys couldn't wait to get to Megan's house. Erik and I met and had a great dinner. We hurried home and had a WILD night of watching the Debate on TV, in bed with NO interruptions...except from Joe Plumber!
I slept in today, took a long bath, and picked up the house. It's now noon and I think I will have some coffee and read the paper! Thanks to Megs and Kyle, it's appreciated more than you'll EVER know! (***Colleen and Ann Marie- I'm not opposed to you giving Megan some stiff competition! Let the games begin!***)

Our Halloween started off with a BANG. Curtis and Johnny entered into a coloring contest at the local grocery store, and I got a call yesterday that Curtis won! Here's his prize. Let's just say he is SO proud! (Ok, no lying, Erik and I were pretty excited too!)
Last night, before the kids went to bed, Curtis was drawing in the living room. Every so often he would ask us how to spell something. When it was time for bed, he held up his Mega Doodle at me! Erik and I were CRACKING up! "I'm not going to BED!"
Today is the BIG day- the Halloween Party at school for both boys! They are SO excited that Halloween is finally here. Here are some pics. Johnny is "Troy" from High School Musical for Halloween. He thinks he is SO cool! Curtis is a fisherman, and came up with his costume idea on his own! 
Still NO baby! I go into the doctor on Monday, my due date! I'll keep you all posted! I'm NOT very good at this waiting thing! Every pain I have I think- "Oh, THIS IS IT!" Then it goes away! Thank goodness my sister Colleen is here this weekend to take my mind off of it! We'll have more pics to post after trick-or-treating tonight! Happy Halloween Everyone!

The boys have been changing costumes in the playroom all week, anticipating Halloween. Here's one that deserved a picture! Curtis told me he was a "Witch/pirate/soccer player/Buzz Light Year!
Today it snowed almost all day in MN! It was great! The boys loved playing out in the backyard, trying to catch snowflakes in their mouths. Erik had other ideas. Must be the only person to mow his lawn in the snow showers!
Last night I put Johnny down for bed, and then took a bath. When I got out of the bathtub, I went to check on the boys. Johnny's light in his room was on, and I found him sleeping with MY people magazine wide open to the star of High School Musical! Erik and I were dying! We had to capture this on film! My baby's growing up...now if he could only part with the nuks before his Senior Prom!
