Faribault Aquatic Center

Curtis LOVED jumping off the board!

Andrew loves going to the pool! Who am I kidding, he loves his Mama too!

Megan came with NO kid or hubby! She took advantage of Kyle having his wisdom teeth removed, and sat and read a book in the sun all day! (Oh, and went down some slides with her godson as well!)

The first hour is for 6 and under. Since is was a Sunday, the pool was EMPTY!

Since it was the last day of the summer at the pool, the Soda was FREE all day and snacks were discounted! The kids thought it was GREAT!!!!! (So did we!) I think if I let Johnny drink pop, he's have an IV with it! My lil' junk food junkie!

How cute are those rolls....until he's about 30!

My brothers were asleep for the night and I got to stay up extra late. Do you think I get any attention in my neighborhood?

I know this number looks better in green than in purple...but we'll still watch him and cheer for him!

Baton Rouge

Last week, I headed down I Baton Rouge to help my friend Lynne, from the Netherlands who moved there. I took Andrew, and Curtis and Johnny stayed at Megan and Kyle's house for two days with Granny in town watching them!

Then Erik and the boys packed up and went to Grand Marais, MN for a four day weekend! Here they are at Gooseberry Falls!

Lynne moved the the USA from Holland in July. She just got in her house a week ago Friday, and the shipment of her goods from Holland got there that day too. She was also due to have a baby, and her oldest would be starting kindergarten all in one week! So, Andrew and I flew in to lend a few helping hands. Lynne had Baby Ryan on Saturday, August 15th! He weighed 8lbs 11oz. It was the first time she's EVER had an epidural, as they don't use pain meds much overseas. The quote of the day was, "Katie, why would anyone NOT use an Epidural?" Remember, she has NO friends or family anywhere near her...so please keep her in your prayers if you are the praying type.

Andrew enjoyed his visit to Cajun Alley looking for Alligator heads to bring back for his brothers!

We had a busy week with hanging pics, getting the house unpacked, shopping for curtains, getting cell phones, freezing meals, watching her kids, etc. I'll miss her, and hope she has a good USA experience!
