My 5 Year Old!

Above is Curtis 5 years ago, and below is Curtis today!
Curtis using his FAVORITE present- BIG BOY ROLLER BLADES! (With NO "training wheels"-Or as you and I use to call them, Roller Skates!)

Andrew enjoying the party!

Five years ago today, I was in South Bend, Indiana giving birth. Erik was excited as ever, and I was nervous as ever. My best friend Carrie was with me, and so were Erik's Dad and Step-Mom Deb. Since then, Curtis has moved 7 times, lived in three different States, two countries(twice), and visited five different counties. It's a lot more than I can say I did in the first twenty-five years of my life! Happy Birthday Curtis!

Oh Happy Day!

I'm not sure if you remember me talking about my friend Lynne (Scottish), in Holland. She's one of those people that I met who made a huge difference in my time there. Since I've been back, I really haven't missed too much of Holland, except for Lynne and her family. She is someone I really connected with, who you only meet once or twice in a lifetime. I miss her friendship and seeing her everyday. Today she called me with GREAT news. It's official, that her husband accepted a job in New Orleans for a FOUR year stint! I'm SO pumped! Now we won't have a time change to deal with, and can talk on the phone again every day! Plus, we'll be able to see each other a few times a year! I already know what I'm asking for for my birthday- UNLIMITED TEXT MESSAGING! Obama and Lynne...what could be better!

Long Week

We have the snow, blizzard like conditions, and the extreme cold , so it's sure to be a long week! Today so far, the two older boys decided to have a "Frog Party." They took all their toy frogs and put them in Curtis' room and dumped buckets of water on the carpet floor in the room to create the "right environment." Not to mention they were soaked from head to toe, and the bathroom was a wreck! (I was downstairs nursing at the time!) Honestly, what goes through a boy's mind when they are deciding what to do?

Then, when they were eating lunch, they were trying to make Andrew laugh. Johnny had his mouth full of chocolate milk and Curtis made him laugh and it ended up ALL over Andrew- who had a WHITE sleeper on. All of this, and it's ONLY noon! I'm hoping for naps all around this afternoon!

Camera Bandits!

The boys must have stolen my camera because this is what I found when I up-loaded some pics of Andrew today. Very mature, aren't they! Can't you hear them giggling like crazy!

Do you think his brothers love him?
Curtis asked me today, "Mommy, can I please milk Andrew?"

Curtis took this picture of Andrew looking at his FAVORITE person, me!

Long Time..

My blogging has taken a back seat lately to the holidays, and being a mom. I'm enjoying these days with Andrew and hold him a lot when I have down time. I know it will go fast and want to enjoy it. Nothing too exciting to report on during the winter in MN. The most exciting thing that happened this week was my sister Colleen was tackling and tickling the boys, and Curtis wet himself laughing SO hard, and got Colleen in the process! That's what you call "Cheap Entertainment!" The best part of the show was watching Colleen gag as she went to change her clothes! That's what you get for taunting a 4 year old! Here are some latest pics of Andrew! He LOVES his brothers!
